A NOTE ABOUT THE SHOW:
String of Pearls is a unique opportunity for these 8 women. Originally, the play was intended to have only 4 actors who portray the different women whose lives are touched by a single strand of pearls. I have expanded the cast to 8 women, each taking on at least one main character and then several of the more peripheral women in the play. Listed here are the main parts each of these lovely and talented actresses will bring to life for us (along with a fun photo pic from us being silly together on our first night of rehearsal and their bios, when they get around to it!)

GAYLE TOMINAGA - Stephanie & Kyle
I studied theater in college then took a long, unintentional break before remembering how the acting bug bite felt. My short list of return credits are Barbara in Theater One’s recent production of “The Only” and Nora in Mimbolide’s stage production of “Remember Isobel”. I also got to run around in the dark as a techie for T1’s “Act of the Imagination” and EMH’s “Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead”. I’m very excited to be acting in my first EMH production (I actually stopped breathing when I found out!) as well as working with old and new theater friends. Much love and thanks to Karl and Ellen for letting me out of the house “to play”, and my sister Lynn for occasionally taking care of them when I’m “out playing”.
Also, I’d like to dedicate this show to my “feisty” Aunty Lil, who has been continuously on my mind since this production started.

ERIN DIMOND - Cheryle & Beverly
Erin is excited to be back on stage with such an amazing cast and phenomenal director. She got her start as a stage manager and was pulled on stage for the first time in Penny Kline's "Kitchen Witches" in 2006. Since then she mainly sticks to the backstage and make-up, but was recently seen last November at Theatre One's Production of "The Only". She hopes you enjoy the Pearl journey and take away the 6 degrees of separation that it lays out for you. Now got out and find your own pearl necklace (and get your minds out of the gutter!)

E.M. Hodge - Producer & Director
Once again into the fray! It is truly wonderful to bring to the stage this production of String of Pearls. I saw it performed last summer by the amazing women of The 68 Cent Crew Theatre Company in LA, directed by the ever talented Crystal Craft. I knew immediately I would want to see it done again here at home! Thanks to Crystal for her inspired direction that I have stolen a little from in my own production of this piece, as well as to the actresses I saw bring it to life these wonderfully funny, vibrant, heart breaking and beautiful characters.
