DIRECTOR'S NOTE
Women have always been a constant in my life. Whether it was coming out, heart break, any form of growth there was always a woman to give me pep talks even if they were at 4:00 AM I could list all of the women here, but I don’t think I’d be able to stop.
This play is a thank you to all of the women in my life: past, present, and future. Most importantly it’s to two women that I loved more than anything. My Grandmothers that often gave me tough love and spoiled love. Joan Beck and Ethel Osterhoudt , I love you endlessly. Most importantly to my Mother Regina who has proven time and time again what a strong women is. To my sister Caileigh who has proven to be there for me more times than I could ever count. To my aunts and cousins, even though we may not talk, I think of you often.
I hope you enjoy Angel County. - Shane Robert
